Using webquests can teach students how to use technology and how to critically evaluate information they view electronically. Webquests can also be a way to facilitate collaborative work where students can learn from their peers. An effective webquest encourages critical thinking by encouraging students to form their own answers and opinions on open-ended questions presented in the lesson.
